Its been a great turn out for red nose day today, the children and staff have been getting stuck in with lots of fun activities and games to help raise money.
Everyone has come dressed in red and and brought along their donations.
Our Caterpillars have been having fun exploring red shredded paper and icing cakes.
The Ladybirds are busy making red nose day masks and decorating buns.
The Butterflies have been baking cakes to sell, exploring red moon sand, pinning the red nose on Peppa Pig, playing Hide and seek the red balls and enjoying some red splatter painting.
Bumblebees have created dinosaur masks and badges, decorated biscuits with red nose cherries on the top and had a go at carving out a watermelon into a dinosaur head and drinking the juice from it.
It’s been such fun here at Newquay First Steps so far today and we would like to say a huge Thank You to all the parents for going to great effort with dressing their children and for the donations.
We would also like to say a big special Thank You to 3 year old Tora in the Butterflies who donated £20 of her very own money today. So, Thank You Tora.
