During the summer holidays Dolphin Room and Blues Club children had lots of fun ‘Around the World’.

We created a travel agents, made passports and even turned the castle into a plane.

We visted India where we discussed different cultures looked at pictures, investigated and listened to Indian langauge on the laptop and tasted Indian food …..nann breads and samosas being the favourites !

Many children had been on holiday in Great Britain and brought in photos and treasures of their holidays…. so lots of laughs and gigles during ‘show and tell’ as they shared their holiday experiences with friends.

For our English tea party we made wibble wobble jelly to eat with our jam and scones yummy!

Last stop was China, we explored a Chinese treasure basket and joined in with large scale mark making outdoors creating our own Chinese writing. We even tried using chopsticks when we tasted Chinese food but spoons were much easier !

The children liked the ‘crisps’ ‘best ….better known as prawn crackers.
