Children and staff have been having great fun so far during our February half-term.
Newquay nursery have been cracking on with spring time and preparing their classrooms, creating flowers, butterflies and birds and coming up with ideas for mothers day. The children have also been involving lots of make-believe by pretending during their play, especially in the Ladybird room when playing ‘trains’.
Newquay Blues Club have enjoyed both indoor and outdoor physical activities including acrylic painting, table football, tennis competitions on the WII, running and climbing at the park and trips to the beach.
Truro Blues Club have done plenty of baking and cooking this week including homemade vegetable soup and bread, cookies and pizzas. They’ve enjoyed sponge painting, games of rounders outside and will be heading out on for a ‘walk on the wild side’ to investigate what signs of spring they might be able to see and hear.
We’ve all had such a lovely time and looking forward to our Easter Holidays to continue the out of school fun!
