Dolphin Room children have weeded and picked the lettuce from the veg garden.
They washed the lettuce and ate some at cafe snack and took some home to share with their families.
One mummy sent in a photogragh of a ham lettuce wrap that she made with her daughter which was great, as this provided opportunity to further support learning by discussing the photograph…. we had an enthusiastic comment of ‘ I helped make the wrap but I didn’t like the lettuce so Mummy ate it and said it was yummy’ Well done Mummy!
We then planted spinach and swiss chard in preparation for making winter soups.
