Blues Club

Our Wraparound provision is called ‘Blues Club’ We operate within St Columb Minor Academy for our breakfast club every weekday from 7.30am.

The afterschool wraparound runs from our First Steps building. We collect the children from school each evening and bring them across to our First Steps building. The children have a healthy nutritious snack and can relax and socialise with their friends. Blues Club is led by the children’s needs and wishes and all our planning comes from them. Blues Club is a fun place to be for your child at the end of their school day.

At Blues Club, the fun never stops with our diverse range of engaging activities tailored to suit every interest. From unleashing creativity with arts and crafts projects to mastering culinary skills through cooking sessions, there’s something for every budding artist and chef. For the sports enthusiasts, our outdoor sports sessions provide the perfect opportunity to burn off energy and develop teamwork skills. Inside, children can enjoy friendly competition with board games, test their knowledge with quizzes, or showcase their talents with karaoke and dance parties. For tech-savvy individuals, computer games offer endless entertainment and opportunities for skill-building. With a dynamic blend of recreational and educational activities, Blues Club ensures that every child finds joy and fulfillment during their time with us.
