Our First Steps Nursery in Porthleven is part of the St Elvan’s Children Centre. The Centre itself is purpose built and is a wonderful community resource as it provides services for parents from 0-8 years old. It also offers courses for parents to access whilst their children are at First Steps.
We are registered to provide Full Day Care for 54 children, 12 of whom are under 2 years old. The nursery equipment is of an exceptionally high standard and the landscaped outdoor gardens have been designed to encourage exploration and physical development.
The building has security entrance systems. It also has a sensory room which is excellent for small group work and for assisting children with additional needs.
