Our Toddler room is for children aged 2-3 years and our experienced team of staff ensure that every child is provided with high quality learning experiences to support development and educational progression.
The equipment in the toddler room is of an excellent standard, the layout of the room has been designed to support exploration where resources can be easily accessed which encourages the child to be an independent learner.
There is a strong emphasis on outdoor play to encourage children to learn about the wider world, we have a large garden to the rear of the building encouraging different physical activities this also includes a den making area, mud kitchen and a sheltered area along side the building.
Each child will be assigned a key person who is responsible for aiding their developmental progress, this will be shared with you through discussions and via their own learning journal throughout their time at First steps. This is created using our Famly app, parents will be able to access this so they can see what their child has been doing and also add things that they have been doing whilst at home and out exploring.
