Festive Visit to Beacon VetCare
Preschoolers Visit Beacon VetCare for a Festive Activity
Children from First Steps Cornwall enjoyed a special outing to Beacon VetCare in St. Columb Minor, where they brought holiday cheer by decorating the clinic’s Christmas tree with their handmade ornaments.
Creative Wooden Disc Decorations
The preschoolers crafted unique decorations from wooden discs, adding their personal touch with paint, glitter, and festive designs. Each ornament reflected the children’s creativity and enthusiasm for the season.
Children Decorate the Tree
Excitement filled the room as the children carefully hung their decorations on the Christmas tree. With a little help from the staff and teachers, the young decorators took turns finding the perfect spots for their wooden ornaments. The tree quickly transformed into a colourful and heartwarming display of their efforts, sparking smiles all around.
Spreading Joy Through Song
After decorating the tree, the children surprised the clinic’s staff with a festive sing-along. Their cheerful renditions of “Jingle Bells” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” filled the air with holiday spirit. The staff were delighted by the performance, clapping along and joining in the festive fun.
A Surprise Thank-You Gift
In return for the children’s thoughtful decorations and festive singing, the staff at Beacon VetCare surprised them with small gifts as a token of gratitude. The unexpected gesture brought big smiles to the children’s faces and added an extra touch of joy to their visit.
A Heartwarming Holiday Collaboration
This cheerful event highlighted the spirit of the season, bringing together the preschoolers and the local veterinary team in a heartwarming display of community connection. The beautifully decorated Christmas tree now serves as a festive centrepiece for the clinic, spreading joy to all who visit.
