First Steps Cornwall

At First Steps Nurseries we provide high quality childcare in Cornwall, ensuring all of our children achieve the best possible start in life.

Our two settings are base in Newquay and Porthleven, we are very proud of our Outstanding Ofsted rating.

First Steps Nurseries cater for 0-5 year olds and we have an after school club named ‘The Blues Club’ which caters for children up to the age of 12. The Blues Club is ideal for working parents with children attending our neighbouring primary schools as we can provide childcare for children before and after school hours.

We have an open door policy for new families to visit our pre-schools to see first hand our outstanding childcare, so please don’t hesitate to pop in or arrange a visit…

A day in the life at First Steps

Every morning at First Steps Nurseries in Cornwall begins with a buzz of excitement as children from ages 0 to 5 eagerly arrive at our two locations in Newquay and Porthleven. With our Outstanding Ofsted rating proudly displayed, parents trust us to provide the best possible start for their little ones. As the day unfolds, our dedicated team ensures that each child is engaged in enriching activities designed to stimulate their development and creativity. Meanwhile, at ‘The Blues Club,’ our after-school program, older children up to age 12 find a welcoming space where they can unwind and have fun after a day of learning.
